Chair Pose F1-2

Gretchen Iniguez, Owner

My passion for Pilates began in 2005 when I experienced my first class at a local Pilates studio. I was intrigued with the movements and the ability of engaging muscles that are not typically used. Exercise has always been a way of life for me and after trying many different workouts over the years, I felt I finally found something that worked for my body and challenged me in ways that felt amazing! I was “Hooked on Pilates” and knew that following 20+ years of teaching experience in the fitness industry that this was my calling.

I then began my journey to become certified in mat and reformer Pilates. I trained with a local Pilates studio and then decided to further my education and enrolled in a comprehensive program through BASI (Body Art Science International). After completing my extensive training, I decided it was time to open my own studio and share my vision and love of Pilates with my community!

Lifestyle Pilates Petaluma started in my home and then moved to a small spot inside a gym. After building up my clientele I was able to land in an amazing 1800 square foot, spacious, bright, and inviting studio on the west side of Petaluma. I feel grateful to have a space that embodies the love, commitment and dedication I have put into it and the energy I want clients to feel when they are there.
