Welcome to Lifestyle Pilates Petaluma, where we blend contemporary and classical Pilates to provide an invigorating fitness experience. Join our fusion-style classes, featuring the Reformer, Cardio Jump Boards, Pilates Chairs, Tower exercises, and more for a dynamic, full-body workout.

At our studio, we want every client to feel confident choosing the class that best fits their experience and goals. Here’s a breakdown of our class levels:

Level 1-2 – "The Basics"
Perfect for complete beginners, those returning to Pilates, or anyone who prefers a slower-paced, gentler workout. These classes focus on form, alignment, and building a strong foundation.
Pace: Gentle and supported

All Levels – "Intermediate Progression"
A great next step if you’ve taken a few Pilates classes and feel ready for a bit more challenge. May include more complex sequences or transitions.
Pace: Moderate

Level 2-3 – "Advanced"
Designed for experienced clients who are ready to take their practice to the next level. These classes are high-intensity, fast-paced, and feature advanced exercises. We recommend at least 8–10 Pilates classes before joining a Level 2-3 session.
Pace: Athletic

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

LEVEL 1-2  Foundation Flow
Designed for clients who are new or newer to Pilates, including those with prior experience or those who prefer a more intentional pace. This class builds strength, posture, mobility, and core support through clear instruction and thoughtful sequencing. Movement is steady, supportive, and confidence-building creating a strong foundation for long-term practice.

Pace: Gentle & Supportive

ALL LEVELS  Lifestyle Strength & Stability
A full-body class for clients with some Pilates or movement experience who enjoy steady challenge and variety. This class develops a strength, balance, posture, and coordination while allowing clients to adjust intensity and resistance. Ideal for consistent practice and continued progression.

Pace: Moderate
ALL LEVELS Stretch & Restore
This class focuses on deep stretching and relaxation, using gentle movements to
release tension, improve flexibility, and enhance joint mobility. Perfect for recovery or
improving flexibility, you'll feel refreshed and restored. Prior Pilates experience encouraged.

Pace: Gentle & Supportive

ALL LEVELS Jump Board Cardio

A high-energy, feel good class that builds stamina, strength, and coordination.  Jump-board Cardio delivers rhythmic, continuous movement that elevates the heart rate while remaining joint-friendly.  Expect to sweat, move, and leave feeling strong, energized. Builds Bone density, Strong Heart, and Regulates nervous system. Prior Pilates experience encouraged.
Pace: Moderate & Fast

LEVEL 2-3 Lifestyle Power & Precision

Designed for experienced Pilates clients seeking higher-level strength, balance, and coordination. Classes emphasize control, precision, postural strength, and dynamic movement while maintaining thoughtful pacing. This class supports confidence, capability, and long-term resilience. Prior Pilates experience highly encouraged.

At Lifestyle Pilates, our classes are designed to be safe, supportive, and challenging for healthy bodies. We encourage clients to move with awareness, listen to their bodies, and choose the class experience that feels right for them.

For clients who are new to Pilates, returning after time away, managing a previous injury, or wanting to feel more confident with the fundamentals, we highly recommend 3 Private Intro Sessions. These sessions offer a personalized introduction to Pilates, helping you build confidence, understand modifications, and transition comfortably into group classes.
